Last Chance: Register to Vote in the School Election
Last day to register is Thursday, May 10.
If you're planning on voting in this year's school district vote, make sure you are registered to do so. According to the Kings Park Central School District website, voter registration ends on Thursday.
Prospective voters may register at the on Lawrence Avenue. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
If you are a resident of the district and are registered to vote with the Suffolk County Board of Elections, then you are automatically qualified to participate in the budget vote and trustee election, according to the district website. You can find out if you are a registered voter by calling the board of elections at 852-4500 or the district clerk at 269-3314.
