Kings Park Senior Wins Top Honors at Psychology Fair

Jill Glazer brings home first place for her research into adolescent development and emotion.

A Kings Park senior has won high honors for her research into what's going on in fellow teenager's minds. 

Jill Glazer won first place in her category at the Long Island Psychology Fair for her research project, "“The Correlation between 5 Sub-Personality Traits of Conscientiousness and Self-Mutilation in Adolescent Females" on Jan. 9. 

Glazer's research is a subset of the area Adolescent Development of Emotion and Pesronality Traits study being conducted by Dr. Roman Kotov at Stony Brook University. She was mentored by Dr. Greg Perlman of Stony Brook University. 

The Long Island Psychology Fair annually showcases the best psychology projects from Long Island high school students.
