Kings Park Baseball Standout Signs Letter of Intent With Stony Brook

Senior Joe Guercio recently signed National Letter of Intent to attend Stony Brook University.

 

Senior Joe Guercio, a force to be reckoned with on the football field and a powerhouse on the mound at Kings Park High School, will soon go to bat for Stony Brook University.

Guercio recently signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his athletic and academic career at the collegiate level next year as a member of

Ina statement released by Kings Park High School, Dan Butler, director of athletics called Guercio a standout student as well as athlete, boasting a 96 overall average.

Guercio was named first team all-division in football as a junior and has captained the high school football team for each of the past two seasons. On the baseball field, Guercio is a two-time all-league performer as well as earning all-county honors in his junior year and being named the League V Pitcher of the Year in 2012.
