Fort Salonga Students Shine in School Science Fair

Two students win top honors.

Two students from earned top honors in the 2012 Elementary School Science Fair.

First grader Eva Scotto DiMaso came in first place for her project entitled "Can a Marble Ride a Loop-De-Loop?"

Second place winner was Maggie Pickford, a second grader, for her project entitled "Is Your Vitamin There When You Need It?" Students received guidance from their advisors, Rob Rubin and Maria Iraci.

More than 540 science projects from 118 Suffolk County schools were entered into the the fair, which was sponsored by Brookhaven National Laboratory.
