An Introduction to Piracy

The Huntington Historical Society will hold an Introduction to Piracy for youngsters ages 6 to 12 from 1 to 3 pm at The Conklin Barn. 

Captain Mike will present a short history of piracy.  Children will learn how to talk like a pirate, some basic sailing terms, how to use a compass to navigate, how to read a treasure map, basic knot tying and other essentials.

Cost: $15 for children and $5 for adults, includes refreshments.  To reserve a space, call 631-427-7045, ext. 401.
