Dugout Nearly Done at Renovated JV Baseball Field
Work on the largely unusable field began last September through work done by Kings Park Youth, now near completion with finish of dugout.
The nearly completed, recently renovated junior varsity baseball field at Kings Park High School is almost ready for the season as it wraps up the final phase or work as it completes the work at the dugout.
Kings Park Youth began the project in September to make the field usable for local games and practice. The group used their own funds along with some elbow grease from local companies and residents to get the field up to snuff.
The organization plans to hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 10 to commemorate its completion.
