You've eaten all the holiday cookies, opened the gifts and tossed out the wrapping, all that's left is the tree.
The Town of Smithtown Highway Department said that their Christmas tree detail is in full force and that residents need only to place the tree by the curb and the town will pick it up with regular garbage.
- Do not place it in a plastic bag
- Remove lights, tinsel, garland and stand before placing at the curb
