Dem Poll Gives Bishop Wide Lead

A poll conducted by a Democratic polling firm last week found Bishop up 56 percent to 32 percent over Altschuler.

A poll conducted by a "respected Democratic firm" has incumbent Rep. Tim Bishop well ahead of Republican challenger Randy Altschuler more than three months before the two head into the ring for a rematch of their 2010 race, according to Roll Call.

The poll, put out by Garin Hart Yang, surveyed just over 400 likely voters in the upcoming election, and found that 56 percent of them would vote for Bishop, D-Southampton, while 32 percent would vote for Altschuler, R-St. James. Twelve percent of those surveyed were undecided.

. This time around Altschuler , a change his campaign called a "game changer" when announced in March.

Last week's poll also found that President Barack Obama would defeat Republican challenger Mitt Romney, 49 percent to 44 percent. Though the margin of error in the poll, conducted on July 17 and 18, was cited at 4.9 percent.

On its website, Garin Hart Young describes itself as "one of the most respected and successful political polling firms in the country for Democratic candidates."

the problem are small narrow minded interest groups i.e. religion, business greed, political parties, ,. all vying for control of our minds ,money, power, souls, nothing will change until we regain control of our political system, we must put an end to special interest lobbyist ,political parties, religious influence , greedy business plans, money influence. This is why we are falling from number 1 , i.e. Schooling, health care, infrastructure, ect. We can start now by resigning from all political parties, and register as an independent, and vote for individuals who can reason, free thinkers with real ideas who offer the best reasoning abilities , for we the people, for the greater good of all the people, with room for all the people ,not some small narrow minded group. In time these groups will disappear .and what will be left is reasonable, high thinking, political servants who will come and go, this has been going on for to long ,they will not pass laws to do this themselves .this will take a long time but, this is the only way we can do this without passing laws, Once you give your mind over your body will follow ,then they will treat you like the groupie you are !
