New York State Senator John Flanagan

Bio: Sen. Senator John J. Flanagan represents the Second State Senate District, which includes the entire Town of Smithtown and portions of both the Town of Brookhaven and the Town of Huntington. He was first elected to represent this portion of Suffolk County in 2002 and reelected in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2010. Senator Flanagan is currently the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Education. He  also serves on the Committees on Codes; Corporations, Authorities and Commissions; Finance; Higher Education; Insurance;  Judiciary and Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs.

Senator Flanagan resides in East Northport with his wife, the former Lisa Perez of Maryland. Together, they have raised three children including a daughter who is recently graduated from college and two sons who are currently attending.

He is running on the Republican, Conservative and Independence lines and will run unopposed.

Education: In 1983, he earned a B.A. in Economics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and in 1990 he received a law degree from Touro Law School.

Opponent: Erron Toulon, Democrat, (Though his name will be on the ballot, he has since decided to take a job with Suffolk County.)

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
