Bishop To Be Guest Speaker at Chamber Meeting
Expected to address small business concerns and federal spending.
Rep. Tim Bishop will speak at the Chamber of Commerce Luncheon on Wednesday afternoon.
There is no formal agenda for the meeting however spokesman Oliver Longwell says Bishop is ready for some pointed questions regarding what government can do better and the role of government.
“There may be some discussion on the debt ceiling issue. It is something that affects everybody and I think the small business community would want to hear from him about the prognosis of a deal being reached," he said.
