Multiple Cars Damaged in Rash of Vandalism

Eight cars received smashed windows or damaged side mirrors.

 

Several residents awoke to smashed automobile windows and damaged cars last week as a rash of vandalism struck the area.

Police reports show eight cars had either their rear window or side mirrors smashed sometime during June 18 or 19. Three of the cars vandalized were on Lou Avenue. Other streets where parked cars received damage were 1st Avenue, Indian Head Road, Hilden Street, Fireplace Drive and Robin Lane.

 According to the police, all of the cars damaged were parked in the street at the time of the incident.

Police are asking anyone with information on the incidents to call the fourth precinct at (631) 854-8400.
