Two Accidents on Sunken Meadow Result in Overturned Cars

Separate accidents lands one car in a snow embankment.

Two accidents occurred in the past two days on the Sunken Meadow State Parkway involving drivers who lost control of their cars, resulting in overturned vehicles.

Nancy Pazlic of West Babylon lost control of her vehicle on Jan. 28 at exit 4 of the parkway. New York State Police said Pazlic lost control of her vehicle as she was switching lanes. Her car overturned, landing in a snow bank. Pazlic was not injured in the crash.

The second accident occurred on Jan. 29 on Sunken Meadow Parkway near Pulaski Road. Lauren Kushner, 22 of Kings Park lost control of her car when she skidded out and overturned her vehicle.  According to state police reports, the driver reported neck pain but was not taken to the hospital at the time the accident occurred.
