This Day in History: Kings Park Man Sentenced for Murder

William Gutersloh sentenced on this day in history for death of Lori Peasants.

William Gutersloh of Kings Park was sentenced to life imprisonment on this day in history in 2007 for choking 23-year old Lori Peasants of Danville, V.A. to death according to an archived story in the Roanake Times.

 The murder occurred in Radford, V.A. where Gutersloh was living and working as a bouncer in a local sports bar. Peasants and Gutersloh were both former students of Radford University. Gutersloh was 30-years old at the time of the murder.

 Gutersloh, who confessed to the murder, took the witness stand and told jurors he was sorry and said that the murder was an accident.
