Kings Park FD Douses Car Fire at Sunken Meadow

Fire destroys car.


An car was engulfed in flames on Sunday morning in a parking lot four at Sunken Meadow State Park.

According to the Kings Park Fire Department, the car was parked alongside a curb by the picnic area. No one was in the vehicle at the time of the fire.

The Kings Park Fire Department was able to get the fire, which was fully involved shortly after they arrived, in 15 minutes. Park police along with several park employees were also present.
