Police Seeking Man Who Stuffed 15 XBox Controllers in His Pants

Theft occurred at Setauket Walmart in January, police say.

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the man pictured above who they say stole electronic accessories from a Setauket store in January. 

Police say the man entered Walmart, located at 3990 Nesconset Highway, removed 15 Xbox One controllers from their packaging and put the merchandise in his pants before fleeing on Jan. 12 at around 7 p.m. The value of the controllers is more than $900, police said. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
