Accolades to Ahmad and staff for serving the community and supporting the Kings Park Volunteer Fire Department. Many a night during fires or emergencies the Bagel King offers hot bagels and baked goods for hungry firefighters!

Ahmad has always treated me well. His wife grew up on my street, and he is always generous. I felt terrible when he had the fire, and so happy that KPFD responded so quickly, as they always do. He is so deserving of this award....thanks to KPFD for honoring Ahmad.

It's so nice to see a story about one of the shop owners in town that takes pride in his shop and that the community also feels the same way. I've known Waheed for many years and can tell you that he is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet, with his easy warm smile and continual friendly greeting. He is also very generous whenever it comes to giving support to any of the programs or various organizations that need donations or free food or raffle prizes. I would suggest that everyone continue to frequent his store and see what a nice person and staff are.

Just to clarify my last line... what a nice person he and his staff are. I did have a minor in English man years ago.
