Kings Park Woman Airlifted After Spray Paint Can Explosion

Woman airlifted to Stony Brook Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

A spray paint can that accidentally fell onto a hot stove, causing a small explosion sent a Kings Park woman to the hospital, according to police.

Police said the accident occurred at a home on Balboa Street at 5 p.m. Monday. The woman who suffered non-life-threatening injuries to her arms and face was airlifted to Stony Brook Medical Center. 

Police did not release the identity of the woman.
