Kings Park Man Killed in Sunday Night Motorcycle Accident

Gary Curcie, 46, reportedly struck while traveling westbound on Route 25 in Coram.

A 46-year old Kings Park man was killed while driving his motorcycle on Route 25 in Coram Sunday night when he collided with a Saturn, according to Suffolk County Police.

Police said Gary Curcie was driving his 1986 Honda motorcycle westbound around 9:15 p.m. when a Centereach man, taking a left hand turn onto Country Club Drive, collided with Curcie in his vehicle.

Both men were taken to John T. Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, where Curcie was pronounced dead and the driver of the 1996 Saturn was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The vehicles were impounded for safety checks and an investigation is pending, police said.
