Kings Park House Fire Injures Two on Sunday

Kings Park firefighters say fire was fast moving, spread quickly.

Two Kings Park residents were sent to area hospitals after a fast-moving fire blazed through their home on Sunday morning. 

Kings Park Fire Chief Mark O`Brien said the fire department received a 911 call reporting a house fire on Eugene Drive at 8:52 a.m. Sunday, Newsday reports.

The fire started on the first floor of the home and quickly spread to the second floor and attic. The four residents had safely gotten out of the building by the time firefighters arrived. 

Two occupants were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital - one for minor burns, one for smoke inhalation.
