A large American flag, hung on the front of Kings Park High School has been stolen.
The flag, which was hung to commemorate 9/11, was "taken down without authorization", according to the school website, sometime late Wednesday evening or early on the following morning of Sept. 20.
The district is asking anyone who may have information regarding this incident to call the Fourth Precinct Crime Unit at 631-854-8455 or the district office at 631-269-3310.
