Driver Crashes Through Vacant Storefront

Police say driver lost control of car, crashed through vacant .99 Cent Store.

A driver crashed her car through a vacant store front in Kings Park Plaza Monday morning.

According to police, the driver of a Honda traveling westbound through the Key Foods parking at lot at approximately 11 a.m. failed to negotiate a turn and crashed through the glass of the 99 Cent Store, which is unoccupied.

The 20 year-old female driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to police, the accident is under investigation.

For those of you who left a comment thinking this is funny, SHAME On you all! I shop Keyfood very often with my children. She could have killed someone. And to the girl "who lost control", if you were going the speed limit, you wouln't have LOST CONTROL! SLOW DOWN AND KEEP YOUR PHONE IN YOUR PURSE. To her parents, teach her how to take the bus! All these kids need to learn respect for the road, the people around them, and follow the rules of the road.

So many people drive recklessly in parking lots. It just amazes me how fast people drive with the cell phone at their ear or texting thru parking lots, and as the KP parent above mentioned someone could have been killed. Thank God it is a vacant building, and nobody was walking by at the time. DRIVE SAFE!!!

How dare you suggest that we think this incident is funny! How dare you!!!!
The wording "A Honda... failed to negotiate a turn" was funny, based on how ludicrous that is, when the truth was that a person drove recklessly in a parking lot. Thank God no one got hurt!

No one was injured and I still think it's funny!!! It's like all those times drunk idiots sped down old dock road and ended up in the river!!! HA!! Or the countless times morons drove into 7-11..LOL...It really is Hysterical!!!

That whole strip mall is disgusting and dirty, Key Food is gross, the garbage outside, the sidewalk is always fithly. Where the machines are to return cans smell like urine, I am surprised that no one talks about that. Shame on who ever owns that property. It truly is a disgrace.
