Crimes Nearby: Nesconset Woman In Possesion of Stun Gun

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Smithtown

Elizabeth Rasmussen, 22, of Lindenhurst, was arrested in Smithtown on March 6 on charges of three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon with a previous conviction. Reports state Rasmussen was arrested at Stonedge Drive and Woodview Drive in Nesconset at 3:45 p.m. in a 2005 Cadillac possessed a stun gun and a controlled substance.

Michael Locicero, 19, of Hauppauge, was arrested in Smithtown on March 6 on charges of providing a false sworn statement, first-degree. Reports state Locicero gave a sworn written statement on Dec. 27, 2011 at 3:10 p.m. at the Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct that he knew was not to be true. Locicero allegedly falsely reported an incident where he said he was robbed behind a McDonalds.

Robert Mollusky, 53, of Ridgewood, was arrested in Smithtown on March 2 on first offense DWI charges. Reports state Mollusky was arrested while driving on Route 25 at 12:50 a.m. in a 2007 Honda when he failed to maintain his lane.

Police responded to a call at Smithtown High School West on March 8 after a student reported a shooting threat written on a girl's bathroom wall prior to dismissal. Police said both officers and school officials conducted a search and did not find anything suspcious. Police said they put patrols at the school on Friday as a precaution.

Three Village

Suffolk County police said Tuesday they are investigating an armed robbery that took place March 9 at the 7-Eleven on Pond Path in Setauket. According to police, a black man described as six feet tall with a skinny build, entered the store at approximately 3:40 a.m., displayed what appeared to be a handgun, took cash and fled the store southbound on Pond Path in a black Honda CRV. Police said the thief was wearing a red hat, sunglasses, gloves, and a dark shirt and pants.

Nicholas DiMuzio, 20, of Stony Brook was arrested March 8 and charged with second-degree burglary. Police say DiMuzio was involved in a Feb. 14 burglary on Buckhingham Meadow Road in East Setauket. DiMuzio was arrested in the parking lot of Walmart on Route 347 in East Setauket.

Hauppague

Om Soni, 67, of Oyster Bay, chief executive officer of Hauppauge-based Sonix Medical Records, pleaded not guilty to felony charges of second-degree grand larceny and first-degree scheme to defraud in Riverhead courts.  Thomas Spota, Suffolk County’s District Attorney, said Soni allegedly stole $300,000 from his employees' 401K funds to “pay for his Bentley, Lamborghini, Porsche, an Oyster Bay mansion and to fund other executive salaries.

Karl Arnoth, 27, of Middle Island, was charged on March 3 with grand larceny. Police said Arnoth stole numerous automotive parts over the course of three months from his employer, Woodbury Automotive Warehouse in Hauppauge.
