Crimes Nearby: Man Found With Stun Gun in Car

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County police reported the following arrests.

Hauppauge

Danilo Corporan, of Smithtown, was arrested for assault in Hauppauge on Sept. 18. Corporan, working with an ally, punched a person in the head around 9:30 p.m. After the person fell to the ground, Corporan continually kicked him in the head, police said.

John Elliott, 31, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Islandia on Sept. 13. Elliott was driving a 1995 Mitsubishi southbound on Veterans Highway when officers ran his plates and determined he was driving without a valid license. The police pulled Elliott over and, after a look in his vehicle, found a stun gun on the driver side floorboard.

Commack

Shannon Owens, 26, of New York City, was arrested September 19 on Moreland Road in Commack and charged with prostitution and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Jessica Bevins, 28, of Bristol, Vermont, was arrested September 19 in Commack and charged with prostitution.

Patrick Stockman, 46, of Commack, was arrested September 20 in Patchogue and charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Route 112 in Sayville.

Jill Shaub, 34, of Greenlawn, was arrested September 21 in Commack and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Shaub was observed at 7:40 p.m. driving a 2000 Mercedes-Benz on Jericho Turnpike.

Richard Miraglia, 25, of Kings Park, was arrested September 22 in Commack and charged with DWI with a previous conviction in the past 10 years. Miraglia was observed at 3 a.m. driving a 1994 Chevrolet on Jericho Turnpike.

Three Village


Fong Kwok, 24, of Lake Grove, was arrested Sept. 18 in Stony Brook and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Kwok was arrested for the alleged possession of suboxone on Jefferson Ave. at approximately 5:35 p.m.
