Northport
• Police were called to a residence on 8th Avenue in East Northport Aug. 15 at 12:50 a.m. after a man was stabbed with a knife, officials said.
According to police, Derek Loper, 22, took a knife and stabbed another man in the back of the neck, causing significant bleeding and pain. The victim was hospitalized, police said.
Huntington
• Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Huntington Station earlier this month.
Smithtown• A thief may be walking around with used electronics and a new hairdo after breaking into two Jericho Turnpike stores.
Suffolk County police said they received an alert at 3 a.m. Sunday that an alarm had gone off at Quag's Buy, Sell & Trade at 975 West Jericho Turnpike in Smithtown.
Three Village
• Imani Parker, 22, of Roosevelt, was arrested Aug. 23 in South Setauket and charged with first-degree possession of a forged instrument, a felony. According to a police report, Parker allegedly used fake currency at Home Depot on Pond Path at about 8 p.m.
