Crime Report: Woman Charged With DWI on Long Island Expressway

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department and the Suffolk County Sheriff's office reported these arrests and incidents in Kings Park.

Deborah Chestnut, 61, of Kings Park, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Aug. 19. Police said Chestnut was traveling on the Long Island Expressway South service road at exit 68, at about 8:30 p.m.,when she made an unsafe lane change. Police then pulled her over and found her to be intoxicated.

Rachel Boerke, 22, of East Northport, was charged with petit larceny on Aug. 18. Police said Boerke was accused of taking money from another person in Huntington station and was arrested at 4 a.m.

Kerin Turcios, 22, of East Northport was charged with petit larceny and false personation on Aug. 13. According to police, Turcios allegedly stole property from the Huntington Shopping Center on New York Avenue at 4:15 p.m. When he was arrested, Turcios gave the police false information and was also arrested for false personation, said police.
