Patch is too hyper-local to bring news to Kings Park residents about a town that's up the block from us. You're going to have to actually look at the local site for Commack to get that information, or find a news source that covers more than a 6 square mile town on their page.

The Patch network is set up by town. Top of the masthead, on the right, it says "Nearby". Hit that & you see the Patch is right up to speed with coverage. If they put it all in one 'paper' the E-mail would be 100 miles long.

Other stories are found on Kings Park Patch about things that occur within the township of Smithtown but not necessarily within Kings Park, so I can't help but to feel a bit bewildered as to why this particular story is not likewise found on the Kings Park Patch, thereby causing for one to have to go over to the Commack Patch to read about it (not that doing so is a big deal). Accordingly, without any more clarifying info, one can only consequently surmise and think "so much for consistency".

@Rose - I understand that. But they found a dead body basically on the border of the two towns, it would've been nice to include. I'm just saying, if you're looking for anything outside of the town you already live in, it's basically a matter of wading through bulky navigation. I do appreciate having the info about KP, but if I want news for any town other than this one, or information on major local issues, it is absolutely necessary to visit another site.
