If your kids are anything like mine, snapping a perfect holiday photo to send out in Christmas cards is a task that requires a lot of patience — they squirm, mess with their holiday clothing, and most often when one says "cheese," the other puts on a pout.
To help avoid a bad holiday photo, Patch asked Meryl Spiegel, a local photographer, for some tips on how to snap a perfect holiday photo. She provided the following two recommendations:
1. Try to engage them with an activity.
2. Set your camera on a fast shutter speed to avoid blur from movement.
