Now that things are slowly getting back to ‘normal’, after speaking to so many parents, teachers, PFA and most importantly our children, we would like to personally thank each one of the Kings Park School District maintenance, ground crew and custodians who got the San Remo School up, running and ready before there was even electricity there.
Even with damages to their own homes, no electric and the gas shortage issue, they still left their own families and problems to clean every inch of San Remo School.
They made sure that it was safe and as identical to our kids rooms and routine as it was at Park View. They worked continuously and hard throughout the week so not to cost our district any more money by paying an outside company to do all of the cleaning, transferring of supplies and setting up.
So many teachers and our children LOVE what you have done to their ‘new school’. We are lucky to have you and would like you to know that we are extremely grateful for your dedication and hard work!
