KP Budget Cuts

As you may know, the Board of Education is proposing to cut a tremendous portion of our children's clubs, sports and music programs to close the budget gap. 
We believe that the deficit can be solved creatively and with your support. Please attend the March 11th budget workshop at 6:30 p.m.and let your voice be heard. If you do not wish to speak, simply attending will demonstrate your solidarity and support for our community. 
Cutting clubs and activities will result in our children being left on the streets after school without healthy, challenging, supervised and creative activities. Successful school districts nationally have proven that extra curricular activities provide us with well-rounded, enriched children who are able to compete for college acceptance.
