Kings Park Community Member, Dan Matarazzo, Dies
A familiar face at Kings Park Board of Education meetings, Dan Matarazzo, passes.
Dan Matarazzo, a familiar face to many who have attended Kings Park Board of Education meetings and Kings Park Civic Association meetings has died.
Dan and his wife, Santa, have lived in the Kings Park community for over a decade. According to an online profile, Matarazzo was a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and spent 43 years as a practicing engineer involved in the design of military aircraft.
He was a member of the Father John Papallo Lodge of the Order of the Sons of Italy in Kings Park as well as a member of the Kings Park Civic Association and served as their Education Committee chairperson.
