Farmers Market Set to Open Season With New Vendors, Products

Market will open June 24.

Gluten free products, hand-made dog treats, vegan baked goods and cut flowers are some of the new additions residents can expect to see at the Kings Park Farmers Market this year.

Bernadette Martin, director for Friends and Farmers, said nut free products would be available as well as eggs and poultry and plan to continue donations to the local food pantry.

“We will be doing donations to the food pantry at St. Vincent de Paul on the second and last Sundays of the month,” said Martin. “We hope to do another book drive for the veterans.”
