Event Spotlight: Boy Scout Recruitment Picnic

Learn more about scouting at the Kings Park Pack 539 picnic.

If you are interested in learning more about scouting, head over to Hoyt Farm on Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. for a recruitment picnic. Scout leaders will be on hand to answer questions.

Here are some upcoming events your child can participate in when becoming a scout.

Fall Picnic
Model Rocket Launch
Pine Car Race (2nd – 5th Graders)
Raingutter Regatta (1st Graders)
Annual Blue and Gold Dinner
Parades
Hike Bluff to Sunken Meadow
Camping at Hoyt Farm
Lighthouse Tour
Fire Island
Day at the Movies
Long Island Ducks Game

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
