Don't Miss It: Kings Park's Stuff-A-Bus Food Drive

Donate non-perishable goods to help less fortunate Kings Park families this holiday season.

Kings Park High School students are counting on you to help them help the less fortunate in the Kings Park community this holiday season. 

Kings Park High School will host is annual Stuff-A-Bus event on Saturday, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m., at Key Food Marketplace shopping center on Indian Head Road. 

Students will be on hand to accept donations of non-perishable food for families in the Kings Park Central School District in need this holiday season. In prior years, paper products, diapers, cleaning supplies, shampoo and soap has also been collected. 

More than 20 families have applied for aid from the event, one of the highest numbers in recent years, according to students at Tuesady's Board of Education meeting. 

All food that is donated will be brought back to Kings Park HIgh School where it will be sorted and given to local families in need.
