Angels Without Faces Hosts 5th Annual Texas Hold`em Tournament

Play a game of cards or socialize with players to benefit the Kings Park Community.

Test your card playing skills this Saturday to benefit the Kings Park community. 

Angels Without Faces is hosting its fifth annual Texas Hold`em Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 25, from 6 p.m. - 11 p.m. at the Smithtown Elks Lodge. This year's guest host is Paul Snead and a few of his World Poker Player friends. 

Players can register at the doors starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, but registration is limited to the first 140 players. The tournament will begin at 7 p.m. promptly.

This year, Angels without Faces has made the pot larger and will pay out cash to the top 5 players and premium gift prizes to the bottom 5 players that range from $150 - $500. 

Tickets are $150 donation per person, which includes food, beer, wine and soda. Non-players are welcome to attend the event for $30 a person including food and beverages, a cash bar will be available. 

All proceeds benefits Angels Without Faces, a charitable foundation started by Kings Park residents Joe Mango, Steve Weber, Mark Bailey and Jim Shanahan, holds to the fundamental belief that community is family and together neighbors can help each other through life’s difficult patches.

The foundation not only provides emergency financial assistance to families and individuals who have experienced hardships, it raises community awareness of life altering challenges such as breast cancer, autism and poverty.
