Here's what's happening in and around Kings Park this week.

 

Grace Music School Open House

Grace Music School will be hosting their first open house with  music director Grace Heaphy and Naomi  Pierro, head of  Kindermusik Program. Monday, 7:30 p.m.

Fall Blood Drive

The Town of Smithtown will be hosting a fall blood drive at Smithtown Landing Country Club Wednesday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.  Walk-ins welcome.

An Evening with Psychic Medium, Robert E. Hansen

Robert will share with the audience his psychic gifts of communication with loved ones that have crossed over to the other side. Messages of love will be randomly demonstrated into the audience and sensitively shared.

A sit down dinner will occur prior to the readings. Please call the restaurant directly at 631-273-0088 to purchase tickets.

Meetings

Smithtown Library Board of Trustees

The library board will meet Tuesday evening at 7 at the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Library.

Chamber of Commerce General Membership Meeting Luncheon

The Kings Park Chamber of Commerce meets Wednesday afternoon at 11:45. Guest speaker will be Legis. John Kennedy who will give an update on planned sewer expansion and what effect it might have on the Kings Park community.

Town of Smithtown Planning Board Meeting

The Smithtown Planning Board will meet at 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Smithtown Senior Citizens Center.

Smithtown Town Board Meeting

The Smithtown Town Board will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Smithtown Senior Citizens Center.

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!

I just saw this dog running down sunken meadow rd. on Monday afternoon around 4:45.
