Great Week in Washington for Kings Park's Intel Finalist

In the two inspections the market had in 2012, and its most recent inspection in January, workers from the state's Department of Agriculture and Markets slapped the Key Food market with critical violations, deemed health hazards, leading to failed inspections. Most recently, the store failed due to dirty cutting boards that had food residue caked in the scoring marks and having a hot food holding unit that wasn't reaching a high enough temperature. The market was also cited for 29 general deficiencies, not considered health risks, for issues related store cleanliness, among others.

Board of Ed: Budget Cuts Will Mean Bigger Class Sizes

The Kings Park Board of Education continues to grapple with trying to close an approximately $2 million budget gap and on Tuesday evening said there is no easy solution.

The second draft budget, which was presented at the Tuesday meeting, shows a budget-to-budget increase of 4.19 percent, and a projected shortfall of  $2,056,151, with a tax levy of 3.5 percent.

18 teachers are expected to be excised if aid lost from the state is not recovered.

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
