- : After going 14.5 years without closing a single day, shut down Ahmad Waheed's . As soon as the electric and gas were back on, and he gained county approval, Bagel King re-eopened Thursday and continues business as usual.

- : Jonathan Czeh, a 34-year-old Kings Park man, was killed Wednesday night as he was crossing the Jehrico Turnpike in Smithtown. The accident remains under investigaiton.

- In case you missed them earlier this week, Tom Gillen took photos of last weekend's annual Kings Park Christmas Parade.

- : Celebrating another holiday this season, close to 100 people showed up at Veterans Plaza on Sunday to light the menorah for the beginning of Hanukkah. Linda Henninger captured some photos for us there.
