Week In Review: Pedestrian Critically Injured, District Predicts $1.2 Million Gap

1.    

A Kings Park woman was seriously injured Wednesday evening when she was struck by a car on St. Johnland Road.

The Town of Smithtown will now offer live streaming of its town board meetings allowing residents to watch meetings as they happen.

District Superintendent Susan Agruso said at Tuesday evening’s board meeting that initial budget projections show the district is looking at a $1.2 million budget gap for next year assuming that there is no change in staffing, programs or revenue.
