Week in Review: Smithown Councilman Creighton Seeks Bishop Ethics Probe

Smithtown Councilman Robert Creighton formally requested Friday that the Office of Congressional Ethics launch an investigation into U.S. Rep. Tim Bishop, following a Politico report that the congressman’s campaign sought a contribution after a constituent asked him to expedite fireworks permits.

Smithtown officials gathered Monday to mull over the town's options for collecting trash and recyclables after news of recent fraud. 

As of Monday morning, Jody Enterprises' trucks were out collecting Smithtown homeowner's household trash and are still scheduled to pickup paper and cardboard recyclables on Wednesday.

Kelly Komorowski thinks everyone should dance and for eleven years she has been giving the Kings Park community the chance to do just that.

The Kings Park Board of Education voted in favor of approving a lease agreement for New Beginnings Child Care Center to rent the space once occupied by New Discovery Child Care in the district administration building.

Kings Park resident Ernest O'Brien won $17,760 in the Aug. 21 Take Five drawing.

Hmmm, now I wonder who or what organization could be doing this illegal act? I'm not going to make an educated guess who could be involverd in this deed but I think if Kings Parkers do some research they are smart enough to figure out who does not want the real facts of the "Uplands Project" to come to light. Displaying these signs is a way of making the public aware of the atrocity of this project. Questions will then be asked. Making a night run to remove them is, at the least, a cowardly act that should be publicized every time it occurs!
