Video: 2008 Memorial Day Tribute to Vets and Marine Larry Noon

This 2008 Memorial Day video was made in part to show support for local resident Larry Noon, a Purple Heart recipient hurt in combat in Vietnam. Noon's mulitple shrapnel wounds were severe causing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and migraine headaches that eventually rendered him unable to work. He later spent three months in the Northport Veteran's Hospital.

On Saturday during Kings Park Day at a ceremony at Veteran's Plaza Noon will receive a check for nearly $34,500 in overdue disability payments presented to him by U.S. Rep. Tim Bishop.
