Local residents, businesses with power offer pot-luck style meal Sunday to those without.

A pot-luck style meal will be put on today at the VFW Hall on Church Street for those who are still without power.

The meal will be provided by neighbors and businesses who have power. Ciro's, Andersons, Park Bake shop, Edelweiss, Short Stop Pizza, Martino's, Bella Cucina, and Keyfood are all helping out to donate food or supplies. The Junior Catholic Daughters have offered to come serve.

"We want to reach out to everyone with no power and offer a warm meal, friendship, the chance to recharge your phone and recharge your spirit," said Michelle Stein, one of the many who are helping to organize the meal.

Please help spread the word, as many still do not have power. Those who have  power and want to contribute,  donations such as food, sweets, drinks, paper goods and plasticware are welcome.
