Spotlight Event: Slavic Night At the Heritage Museum

Piano and dance performances and a puppet show round out the night's events.

The Kings Park Heritage Museum is hosting its Fourth Annual Slavic Night, Friday at the RJO Intermediate School auditorium.

Dance performances, puppet show and piano performances are just some of what residents can expect.

The Kings Park Heritage Museum will host the show, which is being held from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. and is a free, family friendly event.

Performances will induce a medley of accordion songs by composer John Custie, a dance performance by the Kings Park Heritage Folk Dance troop and a puppet show featuring Slavic heritage fairy tales.

The museum will open before and after the event and is part of the cultural series they offer to the community.
