Demolition that was scheduled to begin in May at the former Kings Park Psychiatric Hospital is now scheduled to start in July.
According to Regional Parks Director Ron Foley, the company designated to complete the demo, will be ready to start in July.
“Part of the thinking was that this was when school will be out and also, this works for the contractor’s own schedule,” said Foley.
