Religious Service Times for Easter and Passover

Services will be held throughout the weekend in observance of the religious holidays. Here is a list of times for area houses of worship.

Kings Park Jewish Center

Saturday March 30- 9:30 am

Monday April 2- 9:30 am 

Tuesday April 3- 9:30 Yizkor -11:00 am

St. Joseph's Church

Good Friday, March 29th

Services: In the Church: 3:00 and 7:30 PM: The commemoration of the Passion and Death of Jesus with Veneration of the Cross and Holy Communion. An opportunity to go to Confession will be made available after both services.

Holy Saturday, March 30th

In the Church: 9:00 a.m.– Morning Prayer

The Mass of the Easter Vigil and the Reception of new Members into the Church will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. This Mass satisfies the Sunday obligation.

No other Mass will be celebrated on this day.

Easter Sunday, March 31st

Mass in the Church: 7:30, 9:00, 10:30 a.m. and Noon

In Travis Hall:9:30 and 11:00 a.m.

There is no 5:00 p.m. Mass on this day.

Lucien Memorial United Methodist Church will hold Easter Sunday mass at 10 a.m.

North Shore Baptist Church will be celebrating Easter Sunday mass at 10:30 a.m.

Commack United Methodist Church

The Church is hosting an Easter party and egg hunt this Saturday at 11 a.m. Families are invited to bring their children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors for games and crafts. A light lunch will be served followed by an Easter egg hunt and visit by the Easter Bunny. Attendees are asked to bring a basket and six filled plastic eggs for each child. The church will also hold an Easter Dawn Worship Service at Sunken Meadow Beach at 6:30 a.m. on Sunday. Attendees should meet on the boardwalk, at the main entrance. A 9 a.m. service will follow in the main sanctuary of the church.
