Kids Converge on Sportime For Carnival Fun
Games festivities and food for club's summer camps showcase.
About 300 kids converged on in Kings Park on Sunday. The carnival event was an open house to showcase the Sportime camps set for this summer. The event included a blow-up obstacle course, balloon tennis, basketball, face painting, tattooing and cotton candy. It also included facility tours and an opportunity to meet the staff.
“My favorite thing is swimming,” said Gianna Donofrio, 8 of Northport who will be attending the camp for the second time this summer. “You get to try different things. You don’t have to do just one thing.”
“The is just a lot of fun,” say Kimberly Liau, 9 of Commack who will be attending for the second time this summer.
