Weekends were made for fun. Patch has rounded up a few local events that should give you some ideas on how to enjoy your days off. Here is what is on tap.
1. On Friday, come out to cheer onsketball game there will be prizes and raffles. All proceeds are to benefit Phase II of Project Playground.
2. Check out Friday night at the Smithtown Center For Performing Arts. Called bold and thought provoking, this musical presents the lives of nine individuals who assassinated or tried to assassinate an American president.

3. Create aon Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Children five and up will use leaves to create different animals. Registration is required.
4. Want to learn how to fox trot or jive? Get you dancing shoes on and head down to the on Saturday night at 7:30 pm. Hosted by the Catholic Daughter's of the Americas, Court Ave Maria. $35 admission.

5. It's potluck music with Spaghetti Sandwich. You'll hear a mix of blues and swing and "whatever else we boil up in our pasta pot!"
