Event Spotlight: Community Bonfire Barbeque

This year's proceeds will benefit resident John Ferreyra.

The Kings Park School district will hold its 12th Annual Bonfire Barbeque Friday afternoon.

Rides, raffles, food and fun will be found there. This year’s bonfire will benefit John Ferreyra, a local resident and 9/11 responder who is battling non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Money raised will be used for a Nov. 4 bone marrow drive being held in hope of finding Ferreyra a match.
