Civic Association Presents Check to LI State Veterans Home
Organization gives $100 to the veterans.
A $100 check was presented to the Longs Island State Veterans Home at Stony Brook on behalf of the Kings Park Civic Association to assist with recreational outings for those who live at the home.
Civic Vice President Pat McKeon presented the check to veterans and matched it with a donation of his own. McKeon, a veteran himself, will be also be assisting the veterans on outings such as fishing trips.
