Your Guide to Football Food in Kings Park

Here's your roadmap to the eats, drinks and places to catch the game.

Unless you are made of steel, you have to be a little excited about the Jets being one game away from a chance at a Super Bowl ring. Even if you don’t like the game, you can’t beat the good game food. Eat in or take out, here are a few places to get some good food and drink.

Dixie’s Smokehouse Texas BBQ and Rotisserie

The snowy weather may have put you into hibernation so if you’d rather watch the game at home there’s always take out. Dig on some ribs from Dixie's.  The take out here is quick and easy and a real crowd pleaser. Perfect game time chow.

The shots are on the house for every Jets touchdown. If you are in the mood to hang out with a gaggle of green, head over to where a few die-hard fans are known to hang out. It’s not all men though; the Coors Light girls will be there in the evening.

Always good for a quick take out meal and the selection is large. Game specials include Boars Head Hero, $14.95 per foot, Italian or American and a choice of salads such as macaroni, cole slaw or potato. Order 3 ft and get a free 2 liter bottle of soda. Give your crowd a platter of wings, $11.99 will get you 25 wings and some celery and blue cheese. Individual orders are available as well.
