Valentine’s Day Dining in Kings Park

If you haven’t made dinner plans for Valentine’s Day, it’s not too late yet. Here’s the scoop on some local restaurants that will have you looking sweet in time for sweetheart’s day.

 Café Red: The name says it all for V-Day. The restaurant has their regular menu along with daily specials. As of Wednesday afternoon, they still had some reservations open, though the 7-7:30 p.m. time slots were filing up.

Relish: Chef Steve Cardello tacked on some special dishes in addition to their regular menu. Pasta with shrimp and lobster in a cream sauce, Gorgonzola encrusted rib eye steak are a few of the specials for couples to try. Sweet finishes include a chocolate mousse sponge cake with bitter sweet chocolate sauce or try a special milkshake like the salted caramel or cherry cheesecake. No reservations needed.

Ciro’s: This Kings Park hot spot is just about booked up. If you want to head there, make it for a late dinner at about 8:30 p.m. They will have their regular menu, but if you want to kick it up a notch you can order the filet mignon or lobster tails.

Dinner and Dance Party: Head to Travis Hall on Saturday for a little dancing to Frank Sinatra and Dean Marting. The Knights of Columbus Fr. Seyfried Council 821 is hosting the night, which includes Dinner Buffet, beer wine & soda, Dancing, Raffles dessert and mor. $35 per person.
